I initially founded The Design Company in 1986, of which Christopher Andrew Art is a trading name, to develop my equal passion for design. My wife, Jan, is also a founding partner and we were joined by one of our four children, Daniel, who became a partner in 2008.
Jan worked in PR for Cadbury's Schweppes for several years before helping to manage and expand our design and art business for over 25 years. We have been consulted by Franklin Mint, Vodafone, Virgin Entertainment and British Telecom, to name a few, in addition to smaller companies and private clients.
Christopher Andrew Art was established as a separate identity in 2003 following natural progression and due to demand, to distribute and promote original paintings, limited edition prints and bespoke framing to private and corporate clients, including hotels, prestige offices and the leisure industry worldwide.
As a family operated business, we continue to take immense pride in providing a high quality service, including a professional consultancy service when requested, for one room to an entire home or property. Our expertise in design, gained from our many and varied projects, enables us to accurately and efficiently interpret a brief for the supply of artwork and, when requested for particular projects, advise on lighting in addition to providing an installation service for the artwork, to achieve maximum effect.
